Diaphragm pacer saga continues…:(

The diagram pacer is still not working correctly. As soon as we plugged in the cord this morning my body had an instant reaction and my blood pressure went dangerously high again.

I am still saying fuck. Under my breath.

My caregiver also might not be coming in tonight because of the baby, she hasn't had it yet but she's about to, and that just adds to the stress I already have about what's going on with my diaphragm situation. First thing tomorrow I'm going to have to call Craig hospital and see if they can check out what is wrong. I'm really really really hoping that it won't involve planning for another surgery. Maybe it just needs more time to heal around the wires which are really inflamed and irritated on the skin area where the wires go in. I don't feel like we are particularly rough with that area but it is so delicate that I guess it could have gotten a little bruised or pressed on in a way that negatively affected it. Anyway, it's definitely testing my patience but I'm glad it's happening now so that we can figure out how to deal with issues like this in the future. I need to just be thankful for the ventilator, even though for spending so much time off of it usually, having to be on it all day with the noise and yeah the overproduction of forced air, it's really frustrating. Thankfully it's not exactly an emergency or anything permanent, just a temporary inconvenience. This too shall pass. I'll try to get some answers tomorrow and make a post in detail about what the heck is wrong.
