My physical therapy/ treatment center
Added 2022-10-29 01:07:26 +0000 UTCThe Chanda center in Lakewood Colorado is where I am able to receive therapies: physical therapy, massage, and my acupuncturist who works here comes to my house every week because she is able to travel.
There is no other CENTER like this for people with disabilities to receive excellent ongoing physical therapy etc. In all of the US. You have to get legislature to approve so that Medicaid Will cover it, and you have to justify why it would benefit the people receiving the care. Colorado also has the option for people with disabilities to become their own agency and hire their own caregivers independently yet still have everything covered by Medicaid, and you can pay caregivers a good amount instead of the lesser hourly pay they expect to receive in other states. I really want to see this model of care adopted in Washington and everywhere really.
