Deltarune Chapter 2 Ending!

Is that how this works? Go around not recruiting in Chapter 2? Be a bad influence on Susie?
This was such a funny, sweet and interesting game. Why didn't the sleepover take place in Kris' and Asriel's room? There are two beds there lol. Also where is Susie's house in town?!
Any news on Chapter 3?!

Also, forgot to mention this! If you want to forgo the man behind the tree thing (please don't, I have a feeling it will be worth it), you can load your save from chapter one, fight the secret boss and credit will carry over to chapter two without having to play everything all over again. You still get the item that you get for beating the boss, and you get another dark crystal, which also seems important. Seam mentions collecting them. So far all the mysteries seem to be connected to a mysterious character in some way, but somehow, they also don't seem to connect to him at the same time. It's super interesting.

2024-09-28 13:50:34 +0000 UTCSo this is probably old news, but there is one more secret that I haven't seen people mentioning. In both chapter one and two, there is a secret room you can only enter if you reload one specific room over and over, until it changes to a room with a single tree. I will warn you, it's not super duper rare for the chance for it to reload, but sometimes it may seem like it will never happen. You might even question if it's real, to be honest. Lol In chapter one, you have to enter and exit the room where you find the Original Starwalker from the side with the spinning ball rope thing. At some point, you will get lucky and the room that has the Starwalker in it will change to the room with the single tree. Behind the tree will be a man, and he will give you something. You can use that something in the Light World for a couple of paradoxical interactions. Temmie also keeps track of how many of these items you have collected in an out of character dialogue strangely enough. I chapter two, it's the room where you end up after Toby in dog form runs you over with a car, the dumpster room. This one actually has a hint on the wall of that same room. Anyways, same deal as before, tree, man, gives you an item. You can use it this time in the Light World for a different interaction. I regard this mystery as being on the same level as talking to Onion-san by the river. It doesn't seem too important, but it also doesn't seem too unimportant.

It's very significant in its implications for the rest of the game so, I have to continue recommending it π It's not very obvious how to do it, so you'd need to pull up a guide on the steps

Your appreciation of the characters is really helping me be invested in the mystery. I finally started to pay attention to Deltarune memes because of it, and it sounds like it's time to WAIT for Chapter 3 just like Silksong.

2024-09-09 13:12:58 +0000 UTCYes, doing the Boss in chapter 1 now will alter your chapter 2 save file. So you can do the secret bosses at any time. I think this is in case you missed them so you donβt have to replay the whole game again lol. Iβm not sure about the other things though, I think the bosses are the only aspect of the game that works this way.
