End of Subnautica!

A late upload for you all 😊 Subnautica! It's over! You were great, such a good game, albeit pretty buggy hahaha. Enjoy everyone! Thanks for the suggestions list on the last video, I have my hands full now for the next few months, haha. Here's to hoping we can get both Tears of the Kingdom and Silksong in the same year, fingers crossed! πŸ˜‹

End of Subnautica!

Thank you Amber for an awesome series of a game I never gotten around to play fore myself, and I loved watching you play it! ❀️ A recomendation of a good metroid vania is Guacamele! (If you ever get the feeling for a new m/v while you wait for Silk Song) It has great platforming, a good, hilarious script and fun power-up's. I'd love watching you play it!

Was a great journey, very entertaining. I joined for Subnuatica, but have started watch outerwilds. Can’t wait to see it all. Your a lovely charming gamer.

Rogue Variable

If you ever want to 'go back to Subnautica', the sequel, Below Zero, really is a good idea. In the meantime, Undertale might be another fantastic option. But then, if you kill just one creature, you're gonna have a bad time. ^^

Goblinounours

Congrats on winning the game! :D You keep calling your playthrough "messy," and I keep asking, "what would a 'non-messy' playthrough look like?" :) This is, in part, an exploration game, so you did a lot of exploration. That's pretty much how it's supposed to go, and ultimately, you won; no harm, no foul. :)

Great ending for a great playthrough. Thanks for sticking with this as it's always fun to watch your videos. Let's hope that you find something less stressful to play.

+1 for Undertale!

Loved this journey with you!

Well done Amber, I'm glad you enjoyed your journey through Subnautica. It was a pleasure to share it with you. You mention wanting a sequel in space. Well, that game exists and it's called Breathedge. Not literally a sequel, but it's the same type of game, just in space. I'm not necessarily recommending you play it for the channel, just letting you know it's out there. Just want to make something clear, at least from my perspective. The 'mess' as you call it, is what I'm here for. Watching someone go through a game perfectly is boring. You figuring out things is the best part of your videos IMO. Sure, if someone is missing something obvious for a while it can get frustrating, but I'd rather see you do that and get the catharsis of you seeing it through than not. Plus, how am I going to provide 'helpful tips' if you're just a pro at everything. So don't worry about being 'messy', that's the good stuff.

The Mighty Pipe

Brilliaaaaant!! Teared up at the end too when the sea queen showed up ;-; Thank you so much for this playthrough and I'm so looking forward to future releases! <3

Kami

Nice to see you scan some of the big beasties as a sendoff farewell to the game.

Damn, at the end already :D This has been awesome series, at least to me. I have been on sickleave for a long time and i've watched so many bad let's plays but this has been nice. Well, i hope of course that you play smth i like, but i'll watch probably anyway, eh.

Looked forward to each part, seeing you take in the creativity and legit connect to the cool things was satisfying, something can be lost with ppl playing games like this in distracted streamer mode not taking in the vibe. And your personality shines naturally. would be cool to see the sequel down the road after a changeup. a chill game to relax to if u havent played it, Journey is short but a chill experience with some magic to it. And some beautiful art for inspiration

Same launch day as Starship! :-) I picked up Subnautica to play alongside; I finished it myself a couple weeks ago. I hatched the cuttlefish much earlier, and I got emotional when the "follow" prompt changed to "say farewell." I know you have a long list of games to play but I'll give you a few that I think that you might like to try: 1) Undertale 2) Portal 3) Limbo 4) Fez Undertale is universally loved - you will want to play as blind as possible and you will almost definitely want to play it through a second time... but a little differently... Portal is one of my favorite games - it's nearly perfect in game design and has a great sense of humor. Limbo has beautiful art with a really nice atmosphere. Fez is a puzzle game that has puzzles that are easy, medium, hard, and impossible to solve (a couple puzzles were meant to be solved by the community not individually). That said you can finish the game with only a fraction of the puzzles solved.

Congratulations on finishing. I really enjoyed your playthrough. It was fun seeing your reactions to various aspects of the game. I really hope you play the other one.

I really enjoyed your Subnautica play through! Sad it's over! It's tough, even though you could've spent more time making cool bases etc., it's tough to do so in a Let's Play like this in order to balance story progression and survival/exploration/base building and keep it interesting for the viewers. You did really well, and could've left in even a little more of the mundane tasks if you wanted. However, I feel most Subnautica fans are the types who love to see how others implement their imagination into base building and the like. I doubt you'd immediately want to jump into it, but if ever you want to dive back into the world of Subnautica, "Subnautica: Below Zero" is super fun too. The story takes place one year after you leave the planet, although you now play as a female scientist and there's MUCH more dialog and "active" story to it. Like this one, it includes two storylines to explore. It also encompasses a lot more fun interactions with local fauna than the original and the story dives further into the history of planet and the alien race that left behind the Facilities you explored in this game. The explorable world seems a little smaller and doesn't go quite as deep, but makes up for it with more land based exploration added in. It's well worth playing if you're feeling Subnostalgia!

I had a fun time watching your exploration of this game, I finally understand all those subnautica memes youtube recommended me! I agree Outer Wilds can be scarier than Subnautica, but I was still terrified when you went off the edge. As for relaxing games: Abzu is a puzzle/exploration game that features the marine life of Earth; and I figure you never played Journey, being an Xbox gamer. Both are 2-4 hour linear level-based games, so they'd make for easy "episodes". Firewatch and Night in the Woods are relaxing games that have very dedicated fanbases, but the games are a bit more dialogue driven. Or a Minecraft stream, lol.
