Sorry its pretty late and I forgot to say sorry for no updates on Resi 4 save files for a bit, I was worried to commit to saying anything incase it bugged out again but I have filmed ahead by a bit and it seems ok so far! If it fails again now... blimey yeah no idea haha. ALSO thank you for the lovely reception to Dark Souls 2 atm :) Very happy about that :)

2023-11-22 16:50:38 +0000 UTCSo glad the save issues didn't persist! loved the first few episodes so would've been very sad to see it go :) Really, RE4R might not be a survival horror game like it's predecessors but the feeling you get in some areas in this game legit feels oppressive. It's so good. The Ashley bit in particular does this for me, it's stressful not having anything but a damn lamp of all things to defend yourself with. You handled that very well I'd say though! Another good episode, wasted just a few bullets against the Verdugo but hey, you killed it in the end! Small tidbits: The Novistador are the culmination of fusing human and insect parts together with the Las Plagas, thus giving us the horrible flying cloaking bug monsters. The Verdugo, or "Executioner" what it translates to, were made the same way, but uh... came out as terrifying 2.5 meter tall armored monsters with pointed tails and ninja flips. Such an awesome design and I'm glad the remake did them justice. p.s. "Giving up the ghost" is indeed a saying! Us dutch people have the same one, "De geest gegeven", which is just a literal translation haha. It's basically just a roundabout way to say "to die", "died"
