I loved the playthrough, and agree with all your criticisms as well as the things you liked. You should definitely take a break from Ori for now, but you should try Will of the Wisps sometime (even on your own) cause it really is much better (the combat and mechanics really).

One of the things I love about the will of the wisps is the combat focus and side quests. It improves on the controls and abilities and removes the awful saving feature from the first. I know you’re probably over Ori at the moment (I would be too hahahaha), but the second game is pretty amazing!

2023-08-25 20:10:37 +0000 UTCYay new video! I recommend giving Will of the Whisps a shot, even if the Blind Forest didn’t click . IMO the first game just isn’t that good, and I’ve seen a lot of streamers/let’s players give up on it. The sequel has a much better combat system, more similar to Hollow Knight. Also traversing around the world is a lot more fun.
