Russia-Ukraine Flash Report 23 NOV 2022 5:15 PST - Missile Attacks Darken Ukraine and Moldova
Added 2022-11-23 13:30:52 +0000 UTCMultiple missiles struck Ukraine targeting civilian infrastructure and striking one civilian area in Kyiv where at least 3 people are dead and 6 wounded. There is a short video, and pictures are starting to emerge.
Ukrenergo has reported they have shut down the entire electrical grid in Ukraine to prevent further damage. This like means that all nuclear power plants have rolled over to diesel generators and will have to move to shut down. The loss of power will knock out water, Internet, and cellular service nationwide, and power is out in Moldova, including Transnistria. There are no reports that Moldova was attacked at this time (and we have no reason to believe the country was intentionally attacked).
The attack started just minutes after the European Union voted to declare Russia a terrorist state. Take all the time you need.
