@zachary beers I can agree with that, I also Personally dislike the hamfisted nonsenseical 1920’s esche setting, but am more impressed by season 1 korra than the rest, but I also dislike the cheapening of bending mastery, and lack of martial art influences. Which was present from the start

Well it was written to be a one season show that got extended. That's why, in my opinion, the first season is good while the rest of it is just forced story-telling garbage.

I’m curious what your opinion is on the legend of Korra? I personally think it’s poorly written start to finish, and I prefer to ignore its existence, or think of it as completely disconnected from ATLA, but what do you think? I’m open to changing my mind

I'd vote against Ozai, IDK why but I get too much sheer power over control vibes from him. Plus I think it could be Master Jeong Jeong, he does some impressive things without the Comet and even more impressive things with it. But if not Jeong Jeong I'd say Iroh.
