Added 2020-10-27 22:18:14 +0000 UTCHi Everyone! Just wanted to say thank you for you continued support. I know this month has been short on content. I've been unexpectedly busy with work over the past two weeks, working nights and weekends. I'm exhausted but so ready to jump back into blender tutorials! I hope to make it up to you soon! My schedule starts calming down after this week. Above is a photo from a commercial I directed this week. I hope to do a tutorial on the effects soon. In the meantime, here's some of what I have in the works:
- I'm still reviewing the Patreon Tiers, and I hope to simplify things further. I really want to get this right and I'm having to rethink some of my plans to find the sweet spot that will take us to the next level.
- I'm beginning planning the next series! That's right! A new 5-10 episode tutorial series is coming your way. I'll continue live streaming epic space battles to finish the short (eventually) but I want to keep things movie so we're off to the next thing! Two of the ideas that have been suggested are:
- A detailed humanoid robot rig - character modeling, texturing and animation!
- A Wipeout style futuristic racing scene

Both Ideas are great! but I would love to see a race like starwars : the pod race at the desert with the little anakin boy with Effects and explotions! with some outlaws shooting at the racers with your movie touch style.

2020-10-30 15:15:09 +0000 UTCThe humanoid Robot w/rig sounds cool. Not really into the racing idea. Would be great if you could do short self-contained lessons on occasion as well to practice skills. Long tutorials can feel like a lot of work and you have to rewatch a lot of stuff if you forgot how to do something. But the SciFi series was great.
