ABNEY PARK EMERGENCY CORONAVIRUS CONCERT

Concerts all over the world are being forced to cancel due to the coronavirus . This is not up to the bands, or even the concert promoters or venues...local governments are shutting them down.
The problem is, we musicians pay our bills with the money we make playing live shows. For years now, big business has sucked any potential income from album sales, by streaming our music for “$10 a month” and then not paying the artists. So we musicians rely HEAVILY on playing live gigs.
Now, thanks to the coronavirus, those concerts are going away too.
DAMAGE ::
Abney Park has lost 4 shows (so far) over the next two months, grossing a loss of $15,000 to $20,000 of income. This means bills, rent and mortgages, will not get paid!
At this time, we don't know how long the pandemic will last! This could go on a very long time!
THE PLAN ::
SO WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A CONCERT! And you ALL can come, because this is going to be a LIVE STREAMING CONCERT! (Can’t get infected over the Internet!)
You can buy tickets, watch at home, or at work, or from your quarantine!
There will be cheap tickets for people just watching. A deluxe package for people who want to download the video to watch later, and a super deluxe package including live concert album, downloaded video, and live ticket!
This live concert will be streamed on April 4th, 2020 at 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. For those of you who can't make it at that time, you can get the deluxe ticket, and download the whole concert at a later date.

I sure hope you see this comment... My wife just suggested that you do another online concert like this again but at Christmas time, especially since the Christmas album you did continues to be a favorite year after year.

Many do a stream once a week. interacting with their fans and get donations. I am surprised you have not explored that avenue before.
