Dire Straights + Pink Floyd + Abney Park?
Added 2018-01-20 16:27:45 +0000 UTCI was never really exposed to Pink Floyd much as a kid, but I listened to Dire Straights religiously. Finally, a few years ago, a guitar player in the band stayed up late with me, and we played each other songs.
He'd play me Pink Floyd, I'd listen, think "Marc Knopfler did it better", and play him a Dire Straights song. This when on for hours.
Anyway, Sky Warden, Abney Parks current guitar player, is a MASTER of this style, so I thought I'd be fun to see what our new song Captain Ulysses sounded like as a 6 minute long epic guitar track.
I'm making this Track free for everyone, in the hopes to lure people here. Hopefully new fans will see how much fun we have here on Patreon, and they'll subscribe.
