Iβm watching this late at night and Iβm currently fighting the urge to midnight snack right now π
So it is a corn dog but I donβt think corn flour is necessary also in Korean itβs literally called a Hotdog (Hat-dogeu). So corn dog and hot dog are both technically correct. And the potato ones are so good I definitely recommend them!
The little round things in the tteokbokki are fried little gimbaps called gimmari with glass noodles wrapped in the seaweed (laver lol). Honestly the fried things are the best part of tteokbokki especially when you dip them in the sauce π€€ I was also wondering why they didnβt just cut them but I guess thatβs one less thing to prepare. Also itβs probably less likely for it to become overcooked when theyβre left as a whole since they have to keep it warm the whole time.
These shows are so wholesome. I feel like Iβm there with them but at the same time Iβm so jealous that Iβm not actually there.

it was such a fun episode ππππ
when i watched it i used to have some gimbap and tteobokki on the side because this show makes you hungry
now also when i watching with you guys i have to keep something to snack on ππππ
i totally agree with Kevin, it is so difficult to eat gimbap with a fork, it falls apart
i always use chopsticks or spoon
the two travelers who met there if they end up together it will an amazing story of how they met - ship mode on ππππ
i think the customers add so much to the show, the dynamic between the different people coming from so many different places.
i also wanna go on a trip with my friends ποΈποΈποΈποΈ

Yaaaay episode 2 here we go!!!
I made the smart decision of watching this while eating dinner, even if I finished in like the first 15 minutesπ good thing I have snacks.
I was also trying to figure out what language the first couple was speaking and I was suspecting either Dutch or German. So I kind of got it correct since they were from Amsterdam and thus speak Dutch (unless it was German, cause that is also a language spoken in The Netherlands).
I would love to have a conversation with the old man! it seems like he would have a lot of life stories to tell. It was so adorable how he became friends with the couple and the boyfriend even said that he was gonna send him an email when they were saying goodbyeπ₯Ί
I don't know if they are referring to every kind of sunscreen cause I know that when I was in Kenya last year we were told to use sunscreen that was reef-safe. There are a lot of different substances and chemicals in sunscreen and other products that are harmful to corals and marine animals. So if you want to swim it's best to pick a product that is considered non-harmfulπ
I like how it doesn't just focus on them running the restaurant but we also get to see and hear all of the costumersπ It's so interesting to hear what they think of the food and you can clearly see all of their different personalities.
Don't know if you caught it but the song they played when Wooshik came was the OST for Parasite, which he was one of the main leads in. I know you watched the movie but I wasn't sure if you rememberedπ The way they covered his eyes with the black strip is also a reference to Parasite. If you look up the posters for the movie you can see that it's what they're doing to the characters.
