“Log date- sorry, log number two. Current era: three- stars above that still feels weird to say. To say my time on this planet was interesting would be far beyond the correct term I’d use. It has been several centuries since the war began, only recently having concluded with the… unique hybrid once called Pink Diamond - and now Steven - finally reuniting with the, now defunct, Great Diamond Authority. Her Pearl- Guardian claims that over five thousand years have passed since the start of the war. I’m not sure when I lost my sight but I still have yet to find a way to regain it… not that I wish to see again given that my duties as a Platinum are null and void in this new universe.” Platinum sighed, as she sat on a cushioned surface, before starting back up.

“But, my duties for research and understanding are still ongoing. Thankfully, a Peridot has been aiding in my record keeping. Though, I sadly have to state that these records are being restricted as per the request of a being called Garnet. While I appreciate her concern, I believe my studies are important for those like me who wish to remain on this planet. I’ve gone over my time getting to Little Homeworld, a society of gems who are living on Earth and trying to co-exist with humanity, and how I decided to sign myself up for a proper living arrangement with a human.” Platinum paused, the gem going quiet, as she turned her head towards the door and listened for footsteps.

“Which it seems he is awake. My human, Jules, is very different compared to the humans I used to study in Pink Diamond’s Zoo. Seems that they’ve evolved far faster and became far more independent than the humans we had, which makes a lot of sense given how domesticated these “zumans” were. After I arrived at his home, I had to make a few changes to my form… mainly to begin my project. As I’ve stated before, Pink Diamond became a hybrid being known as Steven. While I have studied and understand the mating rituals of a human, how could a Diamond be drawn to such… barbaric ways? Besides, I needed to have a new understanding of these types of humans. I’m still trying to wrap my head around some of these subjects, such as a lack of a choosening. But with my knowledge of their anatomy, I’ve made myself compatible with my human in a way that won’t risk me giving up my physical form.” Platinum giggled softly to herself, pushing herself off the bed, as she began to gently pace around the room.

“Given our new assignment of co-existence, I believe it to be paramount that we have the understanding of what it means to be intimate with these humans. Only one gem, to my knowledge, has experienced human mating and she is no longer around to account for what it is like. Such a door needed to be closed and as a researcher, that is my duty to do so. Now, enough for my rambling, I must explain my changes and why I made them-”

As Platinum was about to speak, there was a soft knock on the door. The ebony haired being jumped, clapping her hands to pause the recording. “Yes?” Platinum called as it was pushed open.

“Sorry if this is a bad time-” A masculine voice began, a faint resonance in the room with the bass of his voice, as he peeked inside.

He was a taller man, with brown locks of hair that was unkempt and a pair of piercings beneath his lip, and usually dawned a worn jean jacket with patches of bands from around the states on the sleeves. The pants were torn around the knee, his shoes were a dusty red that gave the folds of the material an appearance akin to wrinkles. “-I wanted to just say good morning and uh…” The man stated as he tapped the wooden frame of the bedroom door, “You haven’t forgotten, have you…?”

“Of course not, Jules. I said I’d hold to my promise so long as you aided me in my research project.” The gem answered sweetly, smiling as she heard Jules let out a quiet whisper of joy, “Just allow me to finish my log and we will be on our way to the warp pad.”

“Of course, sorry. Just… wanted to make sure. Okay! I-I’ll go get packed!” With that, the door slammed shut, quickly reopening for another apology, only for it to break the silence again as Jules darted down the hall.

Platinum snickered to herself, shaking her head slightly, before clapping her hands to continue. “My changes are designed specifically to my human’s preferences, not all humans may share the same desires as mine, but these choices are intently made for his attention. Now then, I’ve added a window to my chest… at least, that’s what Jules refers to it as. It’s a section of my sweater removed to reveal more of my body for him. Not enough to fully expose myself, no, but enough to be an alluring sight. I don’t believe the other gems have picked up on it, I suppose they only see it as a way to remove the diamond insignia with this new era, but its use is far more practical. Next is what I put on my gravity connectors, or feet as Jules calls them. I have replaced them with, what he dubs, sandals. They expose more of my feet and it seems to be something he enjoys. Apparently humans can find different parts of the body stimulating, I’m surprised that such a feature is desired by some! Whenever he is in the mood, so to say, he will desire to press his tasting appendage against the bottom. I won’t lie, it’s quite thrilling~! H-Heh, well, I have a lot to do this week with Jules. Our next session should be done some time when we get back, so I will document it in full under: Experiment Log H-2. End log.”

With that, the holographic display before Platinum slowly shrank before retreating to her gem on her back. The rectangular surface was smooth and shiny like metal, with only a small chip taken from the corner, but the view of such would be hidden by the hand of its owner as she reached back and summoned her weapon. Drawn like a magician would pull a string of cloth, Platinum brought out a scepter, one that was about as tall as she was, only for it to be lowered and turned slightly. Carefully, she let it glide along the wooden floor beneath her, as she began to pace cautiously over to the door and exit. “Ready?” Jules asked from the living room, causing Platinum to stop and turn her head down towards his voice.

“Of course. I don’t have much to bring.” Platinum answered.

Her pupil-less eyes took time to get used to, but after their intimacy, it was hard not to find them charming in some way. But just as long as it took for her to get out, he quickly caught himself and began to rush over to her. The sound of clattering objects inside of a bag rang out, as the man took Platinum’s hand, and began to guide her out of the hall while she unsummoned her weapon. “Are you sure the others are going to be okay with this?” Jules asked, as the two began to leave, once the front door was locked.

“I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t. It requires a gem to be present to activate a warp, the wildlife there should be documented by humans by now, and I believe there was a time when two humans ventured off with a gem before… or well, that’s a story I have been told.”

Jules let out a large sigh of relief, feeling a weight get lifted and tossed from his body. He didn’t like feeling as though he was an outsider when he signed up for this mission. Beach City was so much more interesting with the aliens around, even better when he was entrusted with a delicate being who couldn’t even see the beauty around her, and yet… he felt so out of place with them. I can’t believe it’s finally happening. I know she said she was over five thousand years old, but to think there is so much history that I just haven’t seen! Jules beamed happily now, thinking about the gift that was Platinum.

Sure, it was a bit awkward between them in public given their… unique relationship. But that would iron itself out in time, they still needed to have a discussion about that regardless. Part of Jules hoped that the other gems were aware of it, just to make it easier to explain if they were ever caught. Yet, the thrill of being her dirty little secret was also very present. “Are you observing my form?” Platinum bluntly inquired, causing Jules to jump and divert his attention back to her, while they ventured to Little Homeworld.

“W-Well, I am now.” Jules admitted, fighting his own gaze to keep on her face, despite the fact that Platinum rarely turned to look directly at him.

“I meant… more in a hungry state. That’s what you call it, right? Hunger?”

Jules laughed, helping her up a steeper bit of the path, before they continued down their usual pace. “No, Platinum. I’m starting to wonder if this experiment of yours is really just that. Not that I mind the compliment!”

“Hm… I suppose from your view it could be more than a test. I just know there are some humans, as you told me, who do it in public-”

“Platinum! I-I’m not going to- in public?!”

Platinum felt her cheeks begin to warm, a darker hue of silver spreading from cheek to cheek, as she let out nervous spats of laughter. “A-Another… thing to note of your tastes!”

After another few minutes of travel across the dirt paths, they reached the settlement on Earth. It was far removed from the architecture of humans, something that brought awe to the history buff aiding the blind gem. “Wow…” Jules mumbled quietly, the two keeping pace down the path.

“Is this your first time seeing this place?” Platinum asked curiously, as Jules nodded to himself, before having to verbalize the answer to her.

“I-I’m… wow. How does this even all work? I don’t think I’ve seen material like this before-” He whispered, glancing around at the other gems that moved about.

Jules could feel the strange and fascinated looks he gave those buildings return onto him. Odd creatures wanting to know why a human was bringing a gem with him into town, but quickly returned back to whatever they were focused on before. He wanted to explore, wander the allies and climb the steps, but he first had to find this… warp pad that Platinum had described. A pedestal that appeared to look like a diamond impaled into the ground, something that would usually be in the center of town if she had to guess. “I believe it’s just stone, Jules.” Platinum commented, trying her best to remember what the buildings felt like and what they could look like from Homeworld.

“Certainly colorful for stone. O-Oh! I think I found that pad you were talking about!” Jules commented, beginning to drag Platinum as he picked up the pace, causing her to nearly trip over her own feet.

“Sl-Slow down! I-I can’t keep up with you-” Platinum squeaked, forcing the man to quickly halt himself and almost toss her forward.

Jules apologized once more, only for the ethereal sound of the warp pad to break the concentration they shared. He watched as other gems stepped off of it, just for another to climb onto it and vanish in a beam of light. “You… sure I can go through that?” He whispered, making Platinum stop and consider the possibilities.

“Well, if you weren’t then you would just be left behind.” She answered confidently.

Jules smiled and nodded his head, fixing the heavy backpack on his body, as he began to walk her over to it. Once they were on top of it, Platinum’s gem glowed, and they were suddenly lifted off the ground. Around them was a whirlwind of light and color, flying past them at speeds that felt unreal. “W-Wow…” Jules whispered, lifting his head towards the top, watching the pillar merge into a single point.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” Platinum asked.

“Yeah… and gems travel through this all the time?”

“Well, not all the time.” Platinum began, “Only if there is another warp to use for travel. We have other ways to travel in space, though I think you’d find them rather uncomfortable.”

“How so? Have you been on a crowded airplane?”

“...I don’t know what that is. Have you ever had to distort light to travel faster than it?”

“You can… do that?” Jules asked both curiously and terrified of the answer.

“Indeed! Gem technology is quite advanced from what I last heard. It’s been many centuries since I had the chance to experience it.” Platinum answered swiftly, as the pillar lowered them onto a new platform, revealing a large circular disc-like ship within a jungle.

Jules was… amazed. This was the first time he used a warp, first time he went to… god knows where, and now he was seeing something that NOBODY told him existed. Platinum, meanwhile, wasn’t really aware if there would be problems for dragging Jules out this far. To her, it was just payment for the tests she performed… on herself. “Wait, this… this is something Buddy Buckwick found on his journey! I-I read about this! You mean to tell me that this is-”

Platinum turned to look at him, moving cautiously off of the platform, before finding footing on the grassy surface beneath her. “Gem History? Yes. If it wasn’t for asking Pearl, I would have not been able to return to this location with such ease. I could have chosen a gem battlefield but I believe there is an infestation of butterflies there.” She mumbled, soon feeling Jules join her and take her arm into his.

“Why would butterflies be so bad?” Jules asked, puzzled.

“They apparently can get in your eyes. Might not be best for the human in charge of directing me.”

“Y-Yeah…” Jules nodded, slowly drifting down to the ground, his gaze moving towards the feet before him.

Obsidian in color, appearing as soft as can be, and yet she… probably couldn’t tell that he was starting to stare. Perhaps she didn’t need to know he was staring, she could feel the burning sensation on her skin as his eyes practically drilled into them. “We won’t be going inside. I doubt all of the traps and hazards within are sprung.” Platinum stated firmly, snapping Jules back to reality.

“Traps?!” He squeaked.

“Yes, within the starship. Now, before it gets too dark, we should find a spot to call camp. I’d love to properly introduce you to Gem History.” Platinum smiled warmly, feeling Jules return the expression as he nodded assuredly and began to scan for a spot.

“Right. So… when was this ship used? Did it have that light distortion you were talking about?” Jules asked, beginning to walk towards a small clearing within the forested area.

It was surrounded by trees but had plenty of open air to give them light from the moon when it came time. An old wall composed of stone and rock beside it, making it just a bit more secure. They would surely be alone out here and with the scale of the ship, Jules was hoping to really delve deep… even if Platinum was cautious about it. Perhaps those traps had become inactive, it had been so long since it landed after all… at least that’s what he thought. “That is an Era One drop ship, from what Pearl had described to me, it was used during the Gem War around five thousand and five hundred years ago. Homeworld used it mainly to deploy troops since, I assume, the warp pads had already been destroyed. I don’t believe the technology was fit enough for such travel but it was certainly faster than I think you’d imagine.”

Jules nodded his head, listening intently, as he finally let the weight off his back rest onto the ground beneath him. He began to draw out his camping gear, a tent for the two of them to lay under during the night, all as Plat continued rambling on about the history of this craft. It was certainly a lot more detailed than Buddy’s Journal, though it probably couldn’t compare to stepping foot inside of the craft. It had to be untouched, right? A downed ship stuck here, left still for thousands of years? It wasn’t like there was a point in destroying it, otherwise the gems would have probably taken care of that.

As day slowly moved into night and the camp was set up, there was a brief exploration inside of the main area of the ship. All the while it was growing increasingly difficult to ignore Platinum’s feet. Jules had been eyeing them all day long. He knew she was teasing him constantly with that outfit change once the arrangement was met. He could still see her nude form, the soft features and ease of lifting her up? There was a feral craving deep inside of him that found purchase and was clawing for release. Perhaps Platinum knew it, the gem always seemed to be carefully sitting with them on display…

“Hey, uh… I know we… did a lot of walking-” Jules began, only for Platinum to start giggling loudly in response.

“Jules, you know that my body doesn’t grow sore from physical labor like that, right?” Platinum remarked, partially smugly but also a bit flustered.

Despite being blind, the gem knew exactly where this was going. Not that she was opposed to it, this was his way of saying that was ready for a session. But it had only been a few days since their first one! Is… he craving this attention too? I know it’s wrong to have carnal desires like this, but my itch for testing is hard to ignore…  Platinum thought to herself, shuffling just a bit closer, only to feel his hands grip her ankles unprompted.

“Then you won’t mind…?” Jules asked as his fingers dug in and peeled a sandal off before tossing it aside.

The footwear flickered into nothing, like the light had reached its range, now one foot was freed. The boy quickly moved to the other, not allowing Plat a moment to think of an answer, as he pried the other off and threw it over his shoulder. “N-N-Nobody's watching… right?” Platinum pondered, just as she felt Jules’ breath hit her exposed sole.

“I’m sure of it. Besides, weren’t you the one who wanted to do it out in the open?” Jules teased, pressing his warm tongue against her cold skin.

Platinum shuddered, her blush bridging over her nose faster than the light she was formed from. All while Jules’ long lick began to roll up her left sole, rising to the ball of her foot. It didn’t seem like she had much of a choice, the session would happen tonight.

Although, to Platinum, it really didn’t matter… she was going to enjoy every second of this and then request more the moment they got home. Perhaps she might just have to get “tired feet” more often.
