(Sorry long ramble!)
Really love the deeper characterization for Kazehaya. He really is the combination of his mother and father. He has his mother’s sociable personality while his emotions are similar to his father’s. Maybe that’s why he has an almost strained relationship with him because he views his less desirable emotional self through his father. Thus it’s difficult to face and counter.
Ayane absolutely broke my heart and I’m horrified at the thought of she went through to get to this point. Pin definitely has an interesting perception on her where yeah she does have it all together. She is emotionally aware of the people around her, can and will call out what it is to people upfront, and very observant. However, “she is still a kid.” She is still vulnerable and in a state of growing where her mind can’t catch up. Although I don’t believe she fell in love at the end, I do think she has made the choice to allow herself to be a bit more vulnerable which is a big intimating step to take.
I do believe Kento is sincere in his emotions. But more so in the wanting to show Ayane a love she can have where she feels cherished. He reminds me of hosts that have a service to please a women’s desire of an affectionate relationship. That’s why he has girls loving to be around him and can easily enjoy being in a relationship with him. But none of them took that step because he easily grants the experience that is in the middle of a guy best friend and boyfriend. He is special but also casually there for whenever. Though this time he made the choice to prioritize Ayane because she is someone he desperately cares for while wanting to be the one to show how sweet love can be.
