So great you've reacted to this! Stray Kids self produce their own songs and write their lyrics, so I think it's easy to appreciate their truest essence when listening to their music :) you know they're not filtered! This song especially is an answer to the criticism that their music is "noise" and "construction" music and to the ones who said ‘noise’ is the theme of their albums. The song starts with the rapper Changbin, known as one of the best rappers in kpop and famous for his fast and aggressive style, saying “The one shouting”, which is a criticism Changbin has received in the past (which is a genius opening imo haha). The Korean title itself 소리꾼 is very interesting as it unites 소리 = sound and -꾼 = someone who is professional or does something habitually. The official meaning is then 소리꾼 = professional singer, but they also use a variation where 잔소리꾼 "means someone who nags a lot" from 잔소리 = nagging. So it kind of aquires this double meaning. Again, genius lyrics! If you want to explore more some of my faves from the last albums are Back Door, Domino, Wolfgang, Red Lights, Pacemaker, Christmas EveL and Winter Falls. Also, there's a norwegian artist called Aurora that has the most unique voice and is just so... ethereal. Songs like The Seed, Winter Bird, Soft Universe, Forgotten Love, Apple Tree, Black Water Lilies, Queendom... honestly her whole discography is worth listening to and very interesting haha.
