Growing up during this time period i'd have to say that Bruce Dern is by far my favorite character actor.

2024-02-18 04:20:56 +0000 UTCMadison, great reaction to this classic western movie! John Wayne was at his best and Bruce Dern was crazed villain. In 1974 they made a TV show based on The Cowboys movie. It picks up right after the movie with the boys returning to the ranch and it used many of the same actors from the movie. It only had 12 episodes before it was cancelled.
