After your post about the multi-initiative monster, I made a 2 monster statblock and haven't been able to stop thinking about every encounter as a single statblock since. Because of that I am super interested in Monster Math, which I feel like doesn't get broken down as much online. It's very easy for me to go look up a full 1-20 DPS break down of any class/subclass in the game online. I am still interested in the player math, but I have found the Subclass breakdowns you've been doing are fantastic and basically what I need from that. The things I struggle most with is conceptualizing what conditions are worth when I weight them in on DM side of statblocks. I think that conditions and things other than damage might fall under Core System Deep Dives cause it is also a player facing system. Currently I'm looking at using the Luck system from Tales from the Valiant (gain 1 spendable on failed rolls) and using it as a currency for players to remove certain conditions. Cause a player failing 5 or 6 stun saves for an entire long 2 hour combat can be boring for that player. I am hoping to weight out luck correctly to pay it to remove conditions. Math that helps with things like that would be super, so far I'm just assuming since combat assumes an average of 3 rounds survivability that 2 or 3 failed saves could be good.
