2019-03-21 03:25:12 +0000 UTCCovenant is a very frustrating film. It adds cool and interesting stuff to the mythos...while simultaneously shitting on what came before. Prometheus isn't perfect, but I don't like seeing all of its Xeno architecture and lore pretty much erased. The new species are so close to being cool, but the cgi and blood effects are spotty. The film was so close to being great, but is bogged down by a bunch of little things...imo of course.
