HardLife roadmap 0.2-0.5 (aka an Up day that Garfield would hate)

...and now I can't get that damned Bangles song out of my head.


 Currently planned feature branches have been split into future versions 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5.

(ETA: this week/April 2018)
version 0.2 almost complete, still working on descriptions. This version has a full encounter system, but will launch with only one programmed encounter (random paper-money $1-100, with a chance of multiple bills).

(ETA: May 2018)
version 0.3 will introduce new stats, combat, a Qi(/Ki/Chi) system that unifies resources into a single flowing LifeForce (power->vigor/stamina->toughness->power), new ways to use Karma, new living accommodations, an employment system, new locations, a webcam/site system, and a ton of new encounters (many of which will show in the debug info for version 0.2 such as finding a shopping cart with stuff in it, a wallet, etc.; plus NPC and combat encounters)

version 0.4 will open up several new jobs, better living arrangements, finally staff the locations (store, gym, restaurant, motel and add new ones: bar, prison), and add a contest system for athletic competitions and gambling (will start with combat sports and bar-room contests/games)

version 0.5 will open up several larger living options/homes, a lab, factory, corporate HQ, city hall, more jobs, more contests (bodybuilding, strongwoman, one-woman-team vs major sports), and some new play modes that give you some options on what to do with defeated opponents.

Starting with version 0.2 there will be a supporters exclusive branch that will include cheat codes and alternate content/play modes. The core game system and core content will be in both versions, but patrons will have additional options.
