2023-12-03 02:26:29 +0000 UTCsuch a good episode. i love when we see dwight and jim's friendship shine and their dynamic working together. them talking about dinosaurs and then having their cake together...they're such children! but it's cute. i love the michael and holly stuff. as the audience i didn't feel we had closure either. i, for one, rooted so hard for them and thought "omg this is it for michael! his happily ever after!" and then it got ripped away and it all happened so, so fast. so i think this episode was needed for us too. also i've said before but i LOVE pam and michael's dynamic together too. she's his ride or die in a lot of ways and she just gets him the way a lot of others don't. while still not putting up with his nonsense when it gets crazy. i also love that we had that moment with pam and karen. it shows the jim wasn't right for her, and she's found someone who makes her happy and has a very happy, successful life. it just gave so many storylines that proper closure.
