Steve Carells acting when he is trying to be nice to Toby, gets me in hysterics every time. Just some outrageously great moments in this episode. Michael + Toby cannot fail. Great stuff Jimmy!

2023-11-11 02:05:58 +0000 UTCsame here!! i maybe project a lot on to her because i was in a similar situation with a guy like roy in my early adulthood, along with tons of social anxiety. seeing her grow and find her voice is amazing! i always root for her no matter how many times i've seen the show because her journey is so relatable and done in a very real way (they give her flaws, challenges etc and she has set backs and leaps forward and i think it's done so well!)

I don't recognize her, she's so different. I have severe social anxiety disorder , so I think the way she developed is just amazing and in a more realistic way. I wish I could be like her 😍

2023-11-10 23:38:30 +0000 UTCoscar always goes over the top with pam and it's what makes his character a bit uncomfortable to me. like at the art show, saying her piece lacked courage. he didn't have to say that. tbh i'd probably do the same thing pam did knowing that office. if i said something directly they'd all probably laugh and make fun of me like they did when she came forward. but yeah i think oscar takes things too far. he's supposed to be one of the good guy characters but then he can be downright mean in the things he says to pam. he always makes it personal. her art isn't just bad, it lacks courage. the note isn't just obnoxious, she's a coward. like...it becomes a personal plight against her and that bugs me a bit when he does that. but i LOVE this episode. michael is a mess and i love he and dwight being a mess together. and i did love the story with the house. i think the heart of it is jim knows pam best. i think he made the decision to buy the house already knowing in his heart it was the right choice for them as a couple, the dynamic they have, etc. everyone else made him have second thoughts. but sure enough, she loved it. i think that speaks about their relationship a lot.
