Personally I love Kevin but to be fair I love all the characters so I’m totally biased. I’ve been watching this show on repeat since it aired so it’s hard to even remember how I felt back when I saw it the first time. I do know it took awhile for me to care about him, he is going to get dumber (and funnier) as the show goes on but I love that so again I’m biased. But anybody who doesn’t like Kevin either way though I get it, we don’t all like the same people, lol. And I agree he’s at the bottom of the office side characters list but this isn’t bad in my mind cause I love them all. (And there are lots of great characters still to come!)

2023-10-09 23:14:31 +0000 UTCi hate what they do with kevin. it's like....four seasons in and they still don't know what to do with him. they tried making him dumb. they tried making him creepy. they tried making him dumb again but a secret genius poker player. then back to just dumb. all the characters you can see them realistically having the jobs they do. with kevin it feels like how did he even get hired? and even so, how does he even still have a job? it's just not funny writing to me, and i'm glad i'm not alone in thinking this.

His UK counterpart is way better, he's dumb and slow but in a natural way. Kevin gets the Joey Tribiani treatment in Friends where he just gets dumber and dumber to the point of complete irritation. He's the absolute rock bottom of my rankings, brings nothing of note to the show for me
