The show has good to great moments, this episode having many of them, but it's not quite the groundbreaking series people make it out to be. Still stands out among the ruble of mediocre TV streaming services often put out

2023-01-29 06:37:49 +0000 UTCOne fun bit of foreshadowing right before the reveal - as Mark pieces the picture back together, he lists a series of facts about his wife and says that he enjoyed them all equally, inadvertendly mimicking the structure of her wellness sessions. I hear you about the pace of the show up to this point. Personally, I like my surreal mystery shows to be as slow-burn and atmospheric as possible, provided the eventual payoff is good and they’re as well-written and directed as this. This show was already very much my jam well before episode 7 (although 7-9 definitely do step it up a notch).
