The Banshees of Inisherin was another recent movie that was good, with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson leading it. Also, if you haven't seen it yet, I'd say Top Gun: Maverick as well.

Also saw Bullet Train which is absolutely absurd action with a crap plot, but DAMN is it fun. Truly I'd love for you to watch the Godzilla movies. Godzilla, King of Monsters is the 2nd best "guilty pleasure" move I've seen (second to Edge of Tomorrow). Godzilla vs. Kong is also epic. So I am recommending: Godzilla Godzilla, King of Monsters Godzilla vs. Kong

The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters (2007) - a funny documentary about competitive arcade gaming with some really fascinating nutty people The Kingdom (2007) - an action/thriller about the FBI investigating a terror cell; great cast, good script, tense action
