There's a reason why this man was in the Triumvirate, Caesar has the noble linage and battlefield cunning, Pompey is a accomplished military leader and respected politician and Crassus is the richest man in the Republic and a brilliant strategist.

Not only that, he has ridiculous amounts of money to make things that are too costly or impractical a reality.

2020-11-14 04:35:23 +0000 UTCThey both are exceptional leaders and skilled strategists able to outthink their supposed betters. Spartacus is great at adapting and turning his opponent's plans against them and is crafty enough to escape traps and ambushes that would otherwise claim his life.

They both come from modest beginnings, a Thracian soldier of the auxiliary and a novus homo, the self made roman who gained his wealth and position through hard work and cunning like Cicero or Marius.
