Love this movie and it’s cool to see it again. To answer some questions - as you saw it’s written by Christopher Nolan. Almost all of his movies are written by himself, his brother Johnathon, or the two of them together. - You probably haven’t seen Ellen Page in a few years because he came out as Elliot a few years ago - I think the idea of the hotel room is that it’s either a suite that wraps around or a penthouse and the whole floor. Either way when Cobb and Mal were talking to each other in the windows I think the idea is that they’re just in different rooms of the same suite - Limbo is the lowest level that you can go and it’s not like a dream that belongs to one person, it’s raw infinite subconscious shared by everyone in the dream together. Saito died first so he got there before Leo and that’s why he was a lot older. Time moves a lot faster down there. - The defibrillator was meant to act as an artificial kick to bring Cillian Murphy back to that level when he was kicked off the porch in limbo. When you die in Limbo you’re supposed to wake up all the way, but apparently you can wake up to one of the other levels I guess if you have a kick? I’m not sure it makes total sense lmao. There were three levels of dream, level one is the van that fell for 40 minutes, level two is the hotel that was spinning, and level three was the winter base. They were supposed to be down there for 16 hours I think they said. - I always liked to think that Cobb really did wake up, but one thing that is not in favor of that is that the kids look exactly the same age. The little boy especially would definitely look older if he had been away for any more than like 9 months.
