happy February ~ triple post π€ pt. 1
Added 2020-02-05 02:44:48 +0000 UTCit's been a busy pilot season y'all. filming a lot more with react lately as well! just came back from an audition where i played a super smart punky edgy hacker. so far, no roles landed.. been a bit discouraged, but still persevering on!! it's only the second month in, and last year, i booked four roles. that means probably hundreds of auditions to work on four sets. i know my skills are even better than before, so this year i really am ready for bigger and better. thank you so much for your patience. i've been doing so much recently and i use most of my energy to perform and lately, i've been going in for so much.. yet i haven't landed anything big yet which gets extremely exhausting.. to put so much passion and time to dissect a role, read the full script multiple times, & spend hours upon hours to memorize and rehearse. these times, i have to remember that it's not about the outcome if i'm doing what i love. i am grateful for to be in a position to pursue my dreams, but i am exhausted of auditioning non stop. i am really hoping and praying i find work.
since i've been a bit discouraged, i would LOVE to talk to my patrons during this time. i'm free to schedule skype calls for this friday!! i apologize for not being able to skype recently. this friday, i will give all my skype patrons extra time to talk while i write y'all hand written thank you letters. it's been loooong overdue and i'm SO terribly sorry about how long it took. thank you so much for sticking around to support me.

Don't feel discouraged, think of these unsuccesful auditions as preparation for the audition that gives you your big break. As you say, you are honing your craft and that will never stop. Hopefully something will come along in the near future to give you the boost i think you need. Maybe a couple of callbacks for 2nd/3rd round auditions would even give you a boost and reinvigorate you. But never lose hope, all of us here believe in you.

I can't imagine being in a line of work where you are constantly searching for new employment. Starting a new course in university today. And will be starting on my bachelor's thesis finally! Should help my chances to find good employment
