Added 2020-01-22 02:56:23 +0000 UTCHad a couple big auditions this past week for a lead in a Hulu film and series regular in an HBO pilot!! A lot of dialogue to work on and memorize! 10 pages to prepare for each project with 3 different scenes per project to create a fully fleshed out interpretation of each character. For the Hulu film lead, I played an 18 year old high school senior stoner who's discovering her sexuality as a bisexual, but hides her true identity to her super religious family. The HBO is a psychological thriller / murder mystery pilot. I played a 25-27 year old wine dealer who is a con artist and someone out there knows her secret and is hunting her. To be honest, I definitely felt like I nailed the hulu audition!! I hit all the comedic and emotional notes. I felt great for my HBO pilot, but I feel like I definitely look like I can play a teenager more than I can play my own age.. Hitting my official mid twenties this year in June and I've still been only cast as playing 16 year olds. Filmed REACT today with Krishelle! She's such a cutie. Going in to film again tomorrow! Thought I was going to have free time this week and the last, but got bombarded with so many projects to work on!! Feels amazing :) how is everyone's week and 2020 so far? I'm so glad you seem to be getting auditions for something more substantial now, rather than just smaller roles. Look forward to the REACT video, what was the theme this time (if you can spoil it for us). My 2020 has just been same old really, nothing new/exciting hapenning, work is a bit too quiet at my job, makes the hours drag too much but nothing i can do about that. May the rest of the year carry on being a great year for you Jeannie, I feel it will be the year when you really shine.

2020-01-22 03:20:51 +0000 UTCThat's a common thing I noticed in films and TV. Girls can mostly play younger roles than they are. Think of it as a good thing though. You have a wide variety characters you can play. Just as long as you're not forced into a certain kind of role. Since the character is bisexual are you comfortable being intimate with another female? I think I could kiss a guy for a scene but I don't think I can go any further than that. Also when those scenes come-on screen, in your opinion, do you ever think why was this actually needed to be in the movie? Anyway, good luck and I am sure you got it. Much love
