The polls have closed! I am sure you are all eager to hear the victor of our first board room weigh in, and we are pleased to announce that update 1.5.0 will focus on Transforming Petra!
Yes, after weighting for patrons this option had more than twice the votes for any other option in the poll. Several other options had strong showings, however. Dual Employee Scenes and Character Abilities were also placed fairly highly. Only one can bring home the winner this time, though, so we have our 1.5.0 plan.
Or at least we have most of it. Petra did not have a transformation path already set, which means...well, we need you again! We're sure you won't mind a little followup. Look forward to Cambion's Corner on Monday, July 20th for an additional poll as to what, exactly, Petra ends up as. Luciana and I will be brainstorming throughout the weekend for some fun binary choices, so feel free to suggest to us some inspiration in the comments below (remember to keep the comments as PG-13 as we can). The poll will run for one week, for the 20th to the 27th.
In the meantime, we are hard at work at the gender patch. There won't be a lot of new content for us to show off since this update is largely concerned with tweaking the existing scenes to allow for any flavor of main character, but we'll be writing some behind the scenes posts that detail the coding challenges and pitfalls involved in flexible genders. One the update is finalized and we turn our attention to Petra, of course, it will be time for a new poll to go up. What will 1.6.0 bring us?
