Strategy and finance

The Constitution Class Heavy Cruiser!

I think this shows really well the difference between 1:100 and 1:25 scale! The 2 years of test model work is really giving me an awesome foundation to boldly go into these builds of the entire ship. Loving every second of it!

What ship is this?

Is it Kirk's ship, the original USS Enterprise? Yes it is! Is it the ship we saw in the 1960's TV show? Yes, and no! Thank you for all the kind birthday wishes yesterday, I had a fantastic day doing absolutely nothing :-). Anyway, a few shots of today's work. Started placing some of the ceiling of the outer rim of the saucer! Just this small work today really begins to solidify the saucer out of its framework. Will do lots more over the weekend and scheduled for a new video mid next week!

Status Report: the success.

It's crazy, the latest video is performing so well. Green upward arrows on all levels and literally a fireworks graphic in the analytics from Youtube. I think I've realized the secret of success or at least the direction of promotions for this project. Deck 4 of the teardrop

Today's work, deck 4 of the teardrop. Some tricky angles here but I worked it out. The shots show Kirk, Spock and Mr Scott exiting the turbolift on deck 4. Over the course of the next week the 'wing' structures will be taken off so I can strengthen the core and also strengthen the wing structures. Eight hours!

Fantastic work time on the saucer today. Placed rough tests of the transporters onto deck 7 and love the perspective it gives me of the overall build. This is going to be one complex build and I'm loving every second of it. Thanks for believing with me! Our ship is on its way!

The core of the saucer!

Lots of work today on the core of the saucer. The shots show deck 3 down to deck 10 (Kirk and Spock are taking a stroll around deck 3 in one of the shots). This is all 1:100 scale and all this work up until the end of the year is giving me the most solid foundation for going full on into the 1:25 scale ship! An important announcement. A change in access to information about the project. All signed up members will have access to general posts, photos of the build and general regular updates. The best job in the world!

Working on the 1:100 scale schematic and began the core structure of the saucer today! It really is the best job in the world, specially when I have 300 signed up crewmembers behind me. It's happening!

Shot of the quick test set up of the 1:100 scale bridge shown in the latest video. The captain's chair, console, burke chairs and figures were all printed for my by our Ambassador. Really can't wait to get into creating this bridge and setting it into the saucer of the ship!
