AMD Ryzen 5000 / 7000 chromebook SOF drivers now available!

SOF drivers are now available for AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 chromebooks! They may be purchased from here and from my driver portal for $10 (same price as Intel)!

New GUI licensing tool

The SOF, AVS and thunderbolt drivers have been updated with a new GUI licensing tool that should make it easier to register licenses for purchased drivers! No more manual copying of files!

Signed Chromebook drivers

All of the chromebook audio drivers (and the thunderbolt driver) are signed, which means you can grab them from the portal and install them without enabling testsigning!

For those that tried 1.0.7 RC 2, have you had a chance to try the recovery utilities?

You can enter recovery using ‘touch /.libhooker_recovery && launchctl reboot userspace’

Do let me know which device and iOS version you’re running on, as it’ll be useful to know.

If you're already on 1.0.6 RC there's no need to update. If you check in libhooker Configurator, you'll see it now detects as 1.0.6 instead of 1.0.6 RC

Known issue with iOS 14

It seems there‘s an issue with iOS 14 where something in /var can get corrupted

Make sure OpenSSH is installed. If you get a BSOD loop with “backboardd” timing out, DO NOT FORCE REBOOT
