Demons of the coasts - Boginki

Some slavic water demons prefer the shores of rivers and lakes instead of the dark depths. Their favorite shelter were caves near river sources, where they waited for their victims who wanted to draw fresh water. Boginki appeared at the end of Spring and disappeared just in Autumn. This was supposed to be another quick photoshoot for me to try some poses. I also haven't seen so many midges in one place (you can still see them on photos) so for a second I thought that maybe not today... but then I started a small bonfire and the smoke scared them away a bit. For me the photos with frozen movement are much more interesting but it's really hard to do them on a self-portrait photoshoot.
