Damn, it's been a hectic few days. The event, however, went well. We agreed on a dowry amount and set the wedding for a few months from now.

I am currently at 6k words and the chapter isn't quite done yet. I don't know if I'll make it to 10K words, but I know for certain that this chapter will be much longer than usual. I messed up guys.

I'm not sure how it happened, but the word doc with the chapter got corrupted. I've tried 10+ ways to recover it and got nothing.

My mistake is not having a back up. I usually only upload completed chapters up to cloud storage once I've finished writing and editing them. I didn't see a need to upload partial chapters before and it has now bitten me in the ass.<...
