This was something that Erin mentioned.  I have done the pair of guys stumbling into an isolated cabin before, but here there are no occupants to lead them into a feminine existence.  They do it themselves or are there mysterious influences in play?  But the conclusion perhaps cements their future - if you can call it cement.

I had thought that I posted the first of the collections based on Jennifer’s stuff, but I was wrong. Beautiful images with a romantic feel, and very few words which give me plenty of room to work with just the tiniest kernel of an idea. There are plenty more from this capster!

The Claimant

Erin suggested that I start on an anthology themed “imposters” which I think does not pretenders but specifically identity stealers. One famous imposter was “The Tichbourne Claimant” which was the name of the movie that followed the real life story. This is a take on that. Watch for more imposter stories.

Discharged Female

Over on BC there was some discussion about forced gender change being mandated by the state, and Iran was an example. It reminded me of the terrible things that took place in South Africa, and the man behind it all who still lives in freedom in Canada. This story is a fictional account of one of his victims.

I wrote a total of 75 stories drawn from caps by Becky commissioned by John and later published online with his consent. Sadly his patronage stopped last year, so I have been posting new work simply as “Becky’s”. But just a note to say (as I said to him) that patronage is the lifeblood of Art, and I miss his contribution.

The End of the Cold

This is a short spy story set at the end of the cold war.  I have noted the seed from Erin.  It plays out largely in dialog which I hope reveals the characters, tells the story and holds promise for the future ... (?)

Chance Encounter

I usually record a seed as a footnote, but it is missing here.  I am sure that Erin will remind me but I think the original idea was hers, although the rescuer being trans may not have been in there.  Whatever the origin of this story it turned into a tale of one TG helping another to realize their dream, so what is wrong with that?

Trafficked

Patrons will know that I write little riffs on captioned images and I post them on Fictonmania.  These are things that just come to me when I see an image or pick up on an idea and they generally just emerge quickly.  But some stories are worthy of enlargement and this is one of those.

I do like exploring different voices - the first person who tells the story can imprint on it so much of his own attitude and intellect.  Here a scientist looking for a life companion decides that the sex of that person should not matter.  He finds the perfect life partner, but will he be able to keep her? 

All-Inclusive

I have done the "transformed on a cruise ship" thing before, but I think that the sales prize and the names came from Erin.  This scenario does provide the isolated yet romantic environment for a lasting change, I think.
