I spent Halloween weekend at Tsurunoyu Onsen Resort in Akita Prefecture. It is only about a one hour drive from where I live in Morioka! I've been to many onsen resorts during my time in Japan and this one is my favourite. The outdoor scenery is breathtaking. Some believe that winter is the best season to enjoy this resort, but my vote goes to fall🍁How could you possibly beat these colours!!...

So tomorrow Mark and I are getting together for another livestream on the Sharla in Japan channel, this time we'll be experimenting with interesting takoyaki fillings! The batter will be basically a pancake batter (no fish flavouring like regular savory takoyaki) so I think anything sweet would work!

As promised in the livestream last night, here is my current skincare routine!
For the first time in at least 6 years, I’ve really switched things up. Wishtrend started selling a new line of skincare by “Rovectin” so they sent me all of their products to try. Wasn’t a fan of the toner or face wash, but the serums, moisturizers and masks have been amazing.
