Summary of what I wrote before: I'm proud because it's cleaner than I've usually painted stuff before. Could be a really nice way to start a painting.

Cel-Shading seems to be anything that uses blending modes to modify a flat base colour. Because that is exactly what I did to this piece, and it really doesn't look like what I would expect a celshaded piece to look like. I just pulled out the Wikipedia article, and my suspicion is confirmed:

This is the best "celshade" I've pulled off so far. Everything you see in this picture is manipulated with blending modes and all that fancy stuff, and I absolutely loved being in such control with everything reversible so easily. Felt like taking the weights off a bit :P Just like Pharus here seemed to take a load off on Theo's backside. Whew.
