Since I'm back in the saddle, I reviewed the state of the game progress.
So far progress has been solid, and after this month pause I can tell I'm 1/4th of the way to have a first iteration of a full level in the game, and right after preparations for the release of the first demo.
What do I have so far:

While I'm waiting for instructions on the project I mention a few ago, I decided to wrap up the camera update I've been working on the last week of the month.
Camera now follows the player as before, but also adjust to specific areas, so it focus attention to a defined zone.
This will be used for specific scenarios as well, i.e. cutscenes.

To spice up the fly drones, I programmed a spawner.
The spawner purpose is to populate the level with enemies: keep areas busy at all times, add traps, combat elements and so on.

I was awake very late, and I was bored out of my mind, so I started with the easiest enemy: a flying drone that patrols an area.

While I'm working on a few more animations, I added sounds to level elements. Things that now have audio:
Doors and hatches.
Propulsors.
Shredders.

So, big dumb oversight here: Letting people on higher tiers get access to anything lower is way of a better deal, so...
If you set to a high enough tier, you will have access to all lower tiers on the list. As I said, I'm looking to add more tiers, so this is the system that I'm applying for now on.

The following videos contains the preview of the game I've been working on the past month.
It's your classic platformer game, you go from start to end, sorting obstacles.
The structure of the game will be 4 zones, each zone will have a particular gimic to them. The last three zones will have a boss to defeat, using, of course, platform mechanics.
