Gold Glitter

This was a gallery back several years ago. Steph and a model named Carry, who became a friend of ours eventually, did one of the first body paint shoots I did, which I named Gold Glitter. I'll post more on this soon. 

I did not feel comfortable painting the both of them so they painted each other.

It was brought to my attention that a lot of previous posts were not able to be seen in the new Appreciation Tier. I apologize for that. I realized now, I have to go back through and update each post to allow access from the top tier, so that is what I will do.

AI Generated Filters

Last night I downloaded Lensa ai. an app that uses, as the name suggests, ai to id your subject in a photo and can generate new backgrounds, or looks for your photo. I prefer to do it manually, but it it crazy to see where tech is going in terms of art, and its use of digital effects, and ai.

No Intent Style of Shooting

Often times I go into a shoot with no idea of what I want or what I'll get out of the shoot. I don't pose, and I just consider the fundamentals in terms of manual exposure and lighting. It's fun to see what you come up with.

This was a shoot back in 2018, I snapped this mid pose as she was trying to balance. 

Portrait of the Day: Spicy Heat

Here was a shoot a few months back using a gobo (light shaper) mounted on an Aputure 300x a continuous light. I had one of my strobes in the back ground with the modeling light turned on so it was continuous as well.

We are filming and photographing more this weekend. A few new looks, along with no looks. 

Question though:

I am considering asking her to shave, it's getting a little distracting for lingerie looks. What do you think?

Little Helper

I was editing yesterday in my garage/office, I heard Steph get home from work, a few minutes, a knock at my door, and she was dressed like this (first photo) I figured it was time to photoshoot, so that's what we did. 

She stayed dressed in the second look for a while after the shoot. That did things to me... maybe I'll kick the new tier off with some more insight as to what went dow...

Cruella

Steph and I would like to say thanks to Newman, Chad and a few others for personally sponsoring or selecting some fun looks. The great thing about looks is they can be saved, reused, and modified for several different shoots.

This was more of a fun test shoot, the home studio was not available. But I still managed to get a simple composite out of it.

Good night touches

Tonight’s workout

I was busy with clients this evening but Steph got after it at the gym then came and helped me. We’ve been talking some on the direction for new content we want to try and launch and have got some good feedback from a few of you.

Happy Thanksgiving 

I may of posted some of these before but without the context.

This was a very special shoot for me. By no means is it technically good, but rather a benchmark in my photography journey.

Back in early 2018 I had just got a new and upgraded studio lighting set. I was fairly new to strobe use in general. I was pretty excited to try out the new lights.

BNW one Afternoon
