I wanted to do some hungarian folk-song inspired shoot. All the hungarian folk songs are metaphores for sex or war, but you rarely see those traditional village girls portrayed like that. It was fun!

Kata won this photohoot on Instagram... we postponed it for almost a year, but finally it's here! It was her first ever photoshoot, but she did really well.

I took a trip to Rózsa's place around Gönyű for this first shoot.

FILM

Rollei Crossbird - first time using this stock, it has interesting results, but when reversing I did adjust it to be a bit less green than it would naturally be which might negate the original purpose of this film.

The film was developed by Café Analóg

Location - Grinnie of the castle

This is the location called Zichy-Hadik Kastély, where we shot the our set with Grinnie around the mansion that was converted to a hotel and later abandoned. Pretty run down from the inside, but looks cool from the outside.

You will have to sneak in from the back through the forest if you want to check out the place. There were signs saying that the area is guarded by dogs, but we haven...

Coordinates - Dark of the Forest

This is where we shot "Dark of the Forest" with Melitta in 2020. There is a small meadow not so far from the road (see the link) - that's where we shot the lighter pictures.

Viki in the studio - BTS

As I said in the previous post, Viki was one of the first ones that I shot in a studio... and not "properly" dressed. I was not nervous, but I was trying to act professional and hide my light awkwardness for sure.

She really like some of my pictures and wrote me several times that it made her day... the other time she cried when she looked at some others. Nevertheless one day she decided ...

She used to be my hairdresser for my dreadlocks when I asked her to pose for me. Viki was one of the first models I shot in a studio and this set is the oldest in my book.
