What do you wish for: Rhumbert156

Holding the ticket in his hands, Rhumbert156 closes his eyes, and begins to think about appearing before the genie. The number 133 appears on the ticket, and Rhumbert156 is instantly teleported in front of a genie.

The genie was holding a couple of orbs when she noticed it had arrived. “Oh! The next one is here. Sorry about that.” The genie drops the orbs on the ground. “Hello I’m the genie and today I’ll be granting you one wish. Anything you desire can be yours, all you need to do is tell me.”

With that, the genie waits for you to speak your wish. “I wish to be teleported into the world of Final Fantasy as a strong warrior.” “You want to be teleported to a final fantasy world, as one of its strong warriors? That’s simple enough, but there are so many to choose from.”

Rhumbert156 thought of exactly what it was he would like to turn into, but he didn’t say so when making his wish and the genie stopped paying attention after he did, so now he was just left there waiting to see who she decided to pick.

The genie returned with an orb. “It took a few days, but after a lot of consideration and phoning a friend, I managed to decide what final fantasy world you’ll be joining and the character you’ll be joining as.”

The genie placed the orb in Rhumbert156’s hands. Rhumbert156 then asks who it is. “I don’t want to ruin the surprise, but let’s just say that this character strikes three times.” Rhumbert156 was a bit confused.

The genie just smiled and lifted her hand. “Good luck, and try to have fun!” The genie then snaps her fingers. Rhumbert went from looking at the genie to looking at a Manasvin Warmech. Rhumbert looked behind her.

Standing there holding guns was Sazh, who was from Final Fantasy XIII. So that was the world she found herself in, but if she was looking at Sazh and had a Warmech in front of her, that meant she could only be one person.

Rhumbert looked down at herself and sure enough not only was she a woman, but she could see pink hair flowing onto her shoulder. She wished she had more time to process this, but she was being attacked, so with her sword in hand, she began to attack while Sazh covered her.

The two fought the Warmech until it was damaged enough and exploded, causing it to go over the side. Sazh falls backward onto his butt, while Rhumbert walks over to the edge to watch the falling Warmech, still in a bit of disbelief that her wish had come true and all of this was real.

“Oh, goodness.. Whew! We did it.” Sazh says while taking a deep breath. Rhumbert stood back up as some ships flew overhead, and then she put away her sword. She then started to walk over to the edge on the other side.

As much as she’d like to take a second to inspect her new body and play around with her new powers, Rhumbert knew that being Lightning, and being in her world was very serious and she likely didn’t have even a moment to spare.

Luckily she knew the games very well and knew a majority of what was to come, and that included where she needed to be heading. However she did forget that there were other people, and right now that was Sazh.

“Aren’t you supposed to protect civilians, Soldier?” Sazh said as he stood up. Rhumbert stopped and slightly turned her head towards him. She remembered how the game went, but not what she was supposed to say.

“I mean you are sanctum, aren’t you? What’re you doing trying to stop the purge? Why don’t you tell me that?” Rhumbert still couldn't remember what she was supposed to say. So she closed her eyes and hoped the words would come to her.

She turned her head towards him and started speaking. She told him she used to be a soldier, and then without thinking about it, she ran off the edge. Sazh stepped forward to the edge. And reached his hand out. “Hey, where do you think you’re going?” 16

You landed on the platform below and started running across it while ships flew overhead shooting down. Rhumbert was now starting her journey. It’ll be long, tough, and a lot of work, but her wish was to be in a final fantasy world as a strong warrior and Lightning fits that description.
