________________________________________________
[3rd POV] [261 AC | 20 Years before the fall of the Targaryen Dynasty | 1 Year before the birth of Brandon Stark]
Turns out…she was a lot farther from the Wall than she had initially thought she was. To the point that when she realized where exactly she was, Cregan smashed her hand against a tree, rage overtaking her.
She was…past the Fist of the First Men.
She questioned how in the hells she was able to get that far, how the free folk that had kidnapped her were able to get that far. And that made her come to a rather problematic realization.
She had likely been unconscious for several days. Several days used to travel to bring her to wherever they were trying to bring her. But thankfully, they hadn’t touched her while she was asleep, which she thanked the gods for.
Now the problem was…how would she get back to the Wall, and in which direction was it.
Sitting at the base of a large tree, Cregan let out a sigh. Her direwolf pack curled up around her, seemingly having decided that they’d be traveling with her from now on. She was thankful for their presence, as they’d be keeping her safe from now on.
But at the same time…she was wondering what to do. But…there was a stray thought that had flowed through her brain.
What if…what if she stayed? What if…she didn’t even bother trying to go back, and instead…she became what Mande Rayder once would. She had years upon years to travel around the Lands Beyond the Wall, rounding up all the Free Folk and becoming the King beyond the Wall.
Or at least its ruler.
She knew of the future, she knew what was coming. Of the Winter, of the Long Night. Of the absolute NEED to have a proper power based in the North. So that her people would be safe from the Targaryen cunt, so that she would have the power to fight back the Night King.
So…she wondered, she contemplated, and she hummed. But before she could come to a proper decision, she stopped, the sound of a raven cawing echoing as she looked up, her eyes locking with a raven upon a tree branch.
Seeing it, her eyes widened, as it looked like…it motioned for her to follow.
And follow she had.

Following the Raven, Cregan had walked for days upon days. Her pack of Direwolves followed her as she followed the Raven in turn. They had hunted elk and deer for food, and ate their fill as they followed the Raven.
And she knew where the Raven was taking her.
A cave in the Haunted Forest, THE cave, the one that the Three Eyed Raven was, or crow, either of them were an apt title for the man that she was heading towards.
She wondered why he wanted to see her, what the reason was.
But she suspected it was because of her existence in this world, of the changes that she was more than likely going to be bringing upon the fate of Westeros.
And soon, after around two weeks of traveling, she found herself in front of the hidden cave, the one that held Brynden Rivers, aka…Bloodraven.
‘…So he’s in there, huh?’ Cregan thought, as she gazed at it, before blinking as the raven cawed again, motioning with its head to follow. And follow she did, as she stepped into the cave, walking through its tunnels towards one of the most important men in the entire world.
She soon stopped, as a small creature stood in front of her, a creature she knew well.
‘…Children of the Forest’ Cregan thought, knowing what this was.
“Follow, honored champion” The Child spoke, as she gazed at it for a few more moments, before following after it. The creature itself was exactly as it looked in the show, which she was somewhat grateful for.
As it meant that this world was likely more like the show than the books. Had it been books in terms of magic and the Night King…things would have been drastically more dangerous.
“…You do not react to my presence, why?” The child asked, noticing that she didn’t seem to freak out upon seeing a creature of legend.
“Because I knew you existed, that your kind existed. I’ve been having dreams of the past for all my life, and the farthest back I’ve ever seen was when you stood alongside my ancestor, Brandon the Builder” Cregan answered, the Child looked at her silently.
“…I see. You have a great gift, Champion. I can see now why he wishes to speak with you” The child said, nodding as if a question had been answered.
‘…Don’t tell me…’ Cregan thought, as she realized why the old man might be calling upon her. Why he wishes to meet her.
She had the strongest Greenseer and Warg gift since ancient times, even her future nephew wouldn’t compare to her. Meaning…
’…He wants me to inherit his mantle…doesn’t he?’ Cregan realized, as she wondered what this could potentially mean. She didn’t want to become emotionless, she didn’t want to be possessed.
‘…We’ll see if accepting such a thing is worth it. But first, lets meet the Three Eyed Raven’ Cregan thought, as she stepped around a corner, ignoring the Weirwood roots that coated the walls and the ground.
And what she saw was bones, the bones of beasts and children of the forest. Bones of humans and giants. Bones of great species, bones of the past.
And at the end of the room was a great Weirwood, at it’s center was an aged, skinny man. Sitting within it as if it was his throne. But it looked more like it was a prison, holding him in place, as she gazed at him.
“You’re finally here” The Three Eyed Raven spoke, as Cregan stepped forwards.
“I am. You called me here, didn’t you?” Cregan replied, as the man gazed at her in silence for a few moments, before nodding slowly.
“Yes. You know who I am already, do you not?” The Raven asked, seemingly already understanding that she was a powerful Greenseer, and a powerful Warg.
Cregan wasn’t shocked that he knew this piece of information.
“I do. Brynden Rivers, Bloodraven. But I suppose now it is the Three Eyed Raven, right?”
”Mmhmm, I have long abandoned that name. Do you understand why I have called you here, child?” The Raven questioned, as he didn’t know if she knew this particular part.
“Not entirely, no. I have a few ideas of what it could be, but I’m not entirely sure”
“And what are those ideas?”
”1: It could be that you wish to train me to be your successor. 2: It could be because of my powers and unique existence. Or 3: It is because you wish to speak to me about what I am doing here beyond the Wall, and what my plans are for the future” Cregan listed, as the man slowly chuckled.
“All of them child, the answer is all of them”
“Ah…that makes sense. But you understand that I won’t be explaining why I am here, right?”
”I know. But I suspect it is to bring the Free Folk across the Wall. An intelligent move, but one that will be difficult to pull off without the approval of that father of yours”
“Oh I know that. That’s why once I become the King Beyond the Wall, I shall speak to my father and then bring them over slowly but surely. After all, I have another, what, 20 or 30 years?” Cregan asked, as the man nodded.
“Roughly, yes”
”Great! So…”
“When are we starting my training?”

That’s the end of the chapter!
So, should I do a timeskip to after she becomes the King Beyond the Wall, and cover the process in flashbacks? Same with the training with the Raven?
Just a warning, I’m in my HOTD/GOT phase again (It happens every 2-4 months lol). But unlike last time, I will make sure to not only upload HOTD/GOT vault fics, and will be also updated some of my TVD ones, and eventually do the Soul Land one at some point.
Anyways, have a good day!
