Incredible. I just finished watching this video. Curious, I looked up FRED on Archive of Our Own and found two Fred/Kevin fics, one written in 2014 and one written in January of this year. I haven't read either (yet?) but I am intrigued...

Tremendous work. I remember thinking "Hmm, I should find out more about Fred" after I saw adverts for the first movie on the sides of buses (it had a theatrical release in the UK). Now, only 11 years later, I finally have!

This was an incredible saga and has certainly changed the way I look back at Fred, having been an early fan until the Nickolodeon era. Fantastic work all around -- my hype for the iCarly series is even higher now. Appreciate everything you do Quinton :)

This was so good!! I watched like half of it while installing a vent fan on the roof of my motorhome in the heat so some of it doesn’t feel totally like, real, but I always really appreciate your nuanced takes when revisiting these old classic YouTube relics. I love how you went into it going even further than not trying to be like “thing bad” but actively trying to consider the possibility that “thing good, actually”. Looking forward to icarly!! Having now watched the entire thing....I was wrong about Fred. I was in my early 20s during the reign of Fred, and really only saw out of context clips before deciding this was stupid and beneath me. The endless merch annoyed me even more. I didn't even realize it had a storyline until watching this video. I also didn't realize he was as young as he was. After watching all this honestly....good for him. It's still not my brand of humor but I shouldn't have judged it without ever really even watching it, and no longer think it's just unredeemabley bad and worthless.

This was a great video! I love the deep dive into the different eras and connections along the way. If I have any criticism, and I'm digging here, I feel like the descriptions of the Fred nick show went a little long. Excited to see this style for the iCarly project!!

I'm about two hours in and I'm officially mad that Fred and Kevin weren't endgame. The perfect friends to enemies to friends to lovers slowburn. (In all seriousness, this has been a very fun video!! The Nickelodeon Fred era was going on while I was a kid, but I think I was a little too old to ever get into it. So going into this video blind was fun and I'm so glad to have a new piece of media that I've never seen but know way too much about to use as a conversation starter.)
