Missy and her brother are also blak/Aboriginal which is why she and Malakai have a sort of bond even though they don’t interact much on screen. I like seeing more of Missy outside of her being mean to Amerie with how she stood up to Harper last episode and how she keeps an eye out for Malakai. That scene on the roof after Missy’s brother grabs him hurts my heart oh my gosh. And the theme for the party was “back from the dead” in honor of Amerie sort of getting her social status back since the whole map/SLUTs class started, but unfortunately home girl can
