The first book I read by him was Anno Dracula, where Dracula wins, marries Queen Victoria and all the classist/eugenics shit ramps to 11 because London elites obsess over the bloodline of whoever turns them into vampires. Also, Jack the Ripper shows up and is murdering vampire prostitutes. It's as batshit crazy as you'd expect. Teenage goth me was all about this shit.

If I could make a suggestion for the Alt-History Book Club, might I suggest Harry Turtledove’s World War series (just book one to start, obv) or his holy fucknuts “Guns Of The South”.
