Who Leaked the 2nd Trailer? (VIDEO SCRIPT)

Readers, you know that outside of ONE theory video I made regarding the film

Mostly because there was an actual official trailer that dropped that allowed me to properly speculate on stuff...

I’m currently doing everything in my power to avoid anything Spider-Man: No Way Home related until either more official marketing is released or the movie is finally out

Not because I care about spoiling myself...

/But because this discourse has me ready to move to an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere and study the Darkhold so I can find a universe free of it and live in peace/

Like, I can’t even check my work emails without seeing the words “Tobey and Andrew Confirmed” somewhere in the background of the web browser

And Readers, I get it. I really do.

Tobey Maguire was a great Peter Parker and Andrew Garfield was a great Spider-Man. It would be awesome to see them both on screen with Tom Holland now that the Multiverse Saga is underway

And from what we’ve seen in the ACTUAL TRAILER, we’re at least going to get a taste the spider-side of the multiverse in the form of the villains

Because they’re the ONLY ONES THAT ARE CURRENTLY CONFIRMED

But at the rate that the internet is pulling set photos and videos out of their asses, eventually a couple of them are going to be real

And apparently that was the case on Monday November 8th...?

Because 2 image stills from what everyone is assuming is the second No Way Home trailer were leaked that evening online. One showing Holland Peter Parker with Tobey and Andrew’s Peter Parkers, and another of Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock meeting with Peter, Happy and Aunt May

(sees they’ve been taken down) ...Wait, what?

(looks off to the side) Who took them down?

...The person who originally posted them? Well who did? (Looks at camera) H-Hold on, I have to figure this out right quick...

(Looks at phone) Oh. (Laughs) Oh... Oh, honey...

So what I stated earlier wasn’t a lie. Two still images allegedly from the second trailer to No Way Home DID leak online November the 8th

And they did so from the twitter account of John Campea of the John Campea Show on YouTube... You can already see where I’m going with this.

Now as soon as he posted the images up, he promptly deleted the tweet that had the images in question.

/And we know that he deleted the tweet, because the link to said tweet is still active thanks to someone who chronicled the link on reddit, which states “John Campea shares two interesting pictures on Twitter potentially from Spider-Man No Way HOme (not sure though he did watermark them)”/

Yes, you read that right. John Campea watermarked the LEAKED IMAGES with his own logo

I’m avoiding posting the photos in question because One, nothing on the internet TRULY gets deleted so the actual images are available if you want to look for them. And Two, I don’t want to spoil this for people who ACTUALLY care about being surprised.

/But yes, he sure did watermark those two images in question./

Now there’s been talk ever since he took these images down regarding why he did. Thankfully, John decided to be a good sport about it and posted a 3 tweet long thread regarding why

In the first tweet he says, and I quote:

/So I’ve shared Spider-Man photoshops before with like 12k retweets like this one. (we’ll talk about this picture in a minute) Then today I get sent these and think they’re also GREAT photoshops because the one image has the classic mistake of having inconsistent placement. End quote/

Unfortunately, I was only able to get an image of the first tweet in the thread that basically stated the images in question may actually be real so he decided to take it down. Because now...

/ALL THREE TWEETS EXPLAINING HIS ACTIONS HAVE BEEN TAKEN DOWN!/

Thankfully I was able to get this gem before at least the first post was deleted where an individual asked why he decided to WATERMARK the images in question.

/His response was “Because the last one I shared got almost 12k retweets”/

(Facepalms) ...Sir. SIR.

Not only do you have over 250 thousand subscribers on YouTube...

But you ALSO have over 90 thousand followers on Twitter. Of COURSE your tweet -- your SPIDER-MAN MOVIE TWEET -- is gonna get almost twelve thousand retweets!

But putting a watermark on possible alleged screenshots of unreleased trailer-slash-movie footage -- as if they BELONGED to you -- is like the equivalent of...Little Debbie slapping a sticker of their logo on a box of FUCKING TWINKIES

And the image in question he’s talking about is so OBVIOUSLY a photoshop job that it isn’t even funny!

First of all, look at the Daily Bugle paper saying that Spider-Man is wanted. Considering what happened at the end of Far From Home and how we see him hunted in the trailer, why would Tom Holland Peter just be casually out there like this?

Also, it’s been 14 years since Spider-Man 3. Why does Tobey Maguire still look like he’s in his early 30’s here? You can’t photoshop Disney’s age-reverting software! That Adobe add-on’s monthly fee is more expensive than the actual program!

AND BITCH, IS THAT MATT MURDOCK IN THE BACKGROUND? WHAT IS HAPPENING?

So John OBVIOUSLY knew that this image was a very well-done photoshopped one, and has stated as such.

It’s ALSO obvious that he did not make this.

So why would he regret not putting HIS watermark on someone else's work? THIS IS WHAT ART THIEVES DO, JOHN!

Y’know, if you’re still around to hear-slash-listen to this because you haven’t been active since the tweets have been deleted

/And that’s probably because you’re doing everything in your power to not be hit with that million dollar fine YOU SUGGESTED HOLLYWOOD SHOULD ENDORSE for breaking NDAs of superhero films/

Readers, do I think that the images John Campea allegedly leaked of either the second trailer or the movie for Spider-Man: No Way Home are actually real?

The answer is, I DON’T FUCKING CARE.

What I DO care about is how crazy this are-they aren’t-they discourse is actually making people

What it’s driving them to do just for clout, for content, for clicks

And I say this, as someone who apparently tricked over 100 thousand people 4 years ago, because they thought that I released the teaser trailer to Infinity War after it leaked online from San Diego Comic Con when I was only REPORTING on the leak. People are CRAZY

But John, in case you are watching this -- which I HIGHLY doubt -- stop...claiming things that don’t belong to you.

Just because you are the offspring of Brazilian and Portuguese colonizers doesn’t mean you have to carry on with the traditions of your ancestors; you can break the cycle

And if you are, in fact, currently “running from the cops” then... (thinks then shrugs) Honestly, I can’t even bring myself to wish you luck; this was kinda on you from jump.
