"... but the DCCU is kind of a mess anyway." Preach on, Brother Mark, preach on. :D :D I realize that wasn't your topline main point, but--- nay, preach on. :D :D Fun fact (I'm sure you already know this, but I gotta post it somewhere): Martin Scorsese was originally slated as an executive producer here. It was originally gonna be one of *his* projects. And--- that's why he's Team DC. :D :D

Very close with his first name's pronunciation. It's "Wah-keen", which makes it confusing again, since Russian-to-English switches W's & V's. (Like some Latin American Spanish-to-English switches V's & B's. lol) But anyway, Joaquin's W-sound is like "Water" "Was", etc. But, you got "Phoenix" (FEE-nix) perfectly!

I like the way you were analyzing him as the film went along. You're very insightful that way; it's one of the reasons I love your reactions.
Oh, you have to watch The Batman (2022). It's soooo good. It doesn't fit with the DC cinematic universe (neither does 'Joker'), but the DCCU is kind of a mess anyway. It takes place during his second year as Batman and the tone is dark and creepy, even more so than The Dark Knight.
