Hey y’all,

We’re super excited to finally bring you the Prologue of Paizuri University, the Bigger and Bouncier Remake (v0.1.2), the very first release of many to come.

How is this version going to be different from the original?

We’re rewriting and redrawing the entire story, while maintaining the original premise and continuing the story past the original’s Epilogue. We’re making the story bigger, giving more attention to each character and the world, and loading it up with harder laughs.

We want to also bring closure to several story threads we opened and answer lingering questions. Like why can Summer see Kareen’s wings? What’s with Bill breaking things with his… uhh… banana? What the hell happened to Musashi? Will there be more watermelons? And many more.

It does mean that the remake won’t be exactly the same as the original, moving some events around to better fit the story, and there are changes in tone to create more distinct characters past the epilogue.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Entire rewrite of the Prologue
3x Full redraw of CG Scenes
1x New Background
New Menus, including Gallery. (Work-in-progress)
The original music and sounds.
General fixes to Memento Engine Visual Novel.

Stagehand ($10+) patrons get early access, and can download it from the link above. Backstage ($5+) patrons will then get access to it in the first weekend of May, to which Stagehands will also be getting early access to Chapter 1.

With this release we are also giving exclusive access to the Script of the Prologue to Connoisseurs ($15+) sharing a little insight into its production. They’ll also get access to the Script of Chapter 1, later this month.
