Hey y’all,
We’ve been working steadily on Memento Mamori for the last 3 months, and we’re ready to give y’all a little sneak peek. It’s not super pretty and it’s still majorly a work in progress, but it’s playable! It just doesn’t have much to play with yet.

Most of what we’ve been working on has been initial gameplay and core systems, focusing on Player Movement and Interaction. Trying to get that to feel right before adding too many other features.

And so far it feels good~! And for a lewd game, feeling good is the important part.
We’re also seeing if we can make it playable with one-hand on Keyboard, Mouse or Gamepad, since that might be important for some people. (・ω<)
The next set of features we’re working on are the Inventory and Player Statistics. So you can pick up and use items, and upgrade your player’s abilities. But more on that in the next sneak peek!
We also made a big decision not to use our Zurizuri Engine, opting to build Memento Mamori from the ground up, and creating a new one which we’re calling “Memento”.
It wasn’t an easy decision because it meant we’ve had to redo a lot of things, but it has been the right thing to do allowing us to experiment and play, as well as address some limitations we’ve run into in the past with Zurizuri.
The new engine also benefits from a lot of what we learned and built with Zurizuri over the years, plus a heap of other things we haven’t been able to use. We’ll still be using Zurizuri, but it’ll be used only for Visual Novel projects like Sexcapades and Paizuri Girls Cumpilation.

It’s been slow going as we piece it all together, but it’s been super exciting as we add each one. We hope y’all excited by the progress too!
