I do think that it could be the title is too generic and this might clash with other published works. I suggest adding a separate title to book one say "The Village, Book One of The Sixth School Saga" Like GRRM did with "The Song of Ice and Fire" series

2024-10-30 02:22:23 +0000 UTCReading up on the subject, found an info site (https://selfpublishingadvice.org/isbns-for-authors/) with this that looks promising for proof of authorship : (high success) A screenshot of your ISBN account showing your name as owner and the imprint name. Ideally with your book's ISBN displayed also. It also says you can use proof of being published elsewhere as proof
