January 2019 Patch Release [Patch #9]
Added 2019-01-31 19:20:09 +0000 UTCHey everyone! I hope you all had a great holiday season and your new year is going well thus far! Today I'm bringing you the ninth patch release and the first of 2019! As always thanks for your continued support. There are about 2,000-3,000 dialogs for quests. Once quests are translated, we will be around 70-75% done with dialog! February's patch will focus on them pretty much exclusively because they're so important. Hopefully you won't have villagers get mad at you because you don't understand what they want!
Igloo Season
It's currently igloo season in the world of Animal Crossing! Igloo season runs from January 2nd through February 23rd! You can find igloos around town from 10 A.M. until 10 P.M. every day. There are exclusive items that you can only get from the igloo inhabitants' games! Try your luck out and see how you fair with the various new games!
Igloo Trivia
In the Japanese version of Animal Crossing, igloos are called Kamakura. Their name comes from the Kamakura Winter Festival held near the city of Kamakura in Japan. Every year people from around the country gather to make igloos just like in Animal Crossing! Here are some pictures so you can see how similar they really are!

This month's patch had a heavy focus on seasonal dialog. There are about 1,100 newly translated dialog messages this time!
Changes:
- Translated all igloo dialog (includes some new games too!)
- Translated new islander dialog when an islander e-reader+ card is scanned and you first talk to them on the island.
- Translated the delivery quest 001 dialog (bring present to other villager).
- Translated all quest rejection & failure dialog.
- Translated Chip's free fishing rod dialog.
- Fixed some minor issues (such as the save dialog for snooty villagers not being completely orange.)
